The Voice judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are known for their witty banter between each other on the ABC popular singing contest. Levine has been seen mocking the country star numerous time, and Shelton found the best way to get him back – by giving out his personal cell phone number.

The country artist took to Twitter to tease Levine before Monday night’s show, according to E! News.

@adamlevine… I just found the craziest thing in my phone!!! Your PERSONAL cell phone number… hope I'm not stupid enough to tweet it out…

Adam responded by calling his friend, and rival’s, bluff and calling his threat “cute.”

This seemed to add fuel to Shelton’s fire, however, and caused the 37-year-old to tweet the Maroon 5 singer’s number an hour later.

Carson Daily, host of the popular show, got in on the fun and retweeted Shelton’s tweet.

Of course, Levine’s phone blew up with phone calls. According to Wetpaint.com, Levine tried to confuse the callers by answering in a different language, but we doubt this deterred fans from continuing to call.

Levine has not posted a tweet or given a statement since the phone call fiasco, but we have a feeling Levine will find a way to get back at Shelton.
