Alexander Wang has revealed that he will be partnering up with H&M for a collaboration that is set to hit stores in November.
According to Just Jared, the news was revealed before the party for Wang and H&M at Coachella Music Festival. A video was later put up on Wang’s Instagram page, which debuts the name of the collection, Wang x H&M, and the date on which it would be released.
“I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process,” Wang said in a statement, according to The Huffington Post. “They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle."
Wang is the creative director for Balenciaga and he is the first American designer to be teaming up with H&M for a signature collection. Past designers to team up with the brand include Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Versace, Lanvin and Isabel Marant.
The full Wang x H&M collection will be available in 250 stores worldwide on November 6.
