AT&T is continuing to try and upgrade its deals. Starting next week, customers of the AT&T GoPhone will be able to use more data at no additional cost.
The prepaid carrier will now offer 500MB rather than 250MB in data usage for the same $40 per month, reported Delhi Daily News. Additionally customers will be allowed 500 voice minutes and unlimited texting with the package. The AT&T GoPhone requires no annual contract.
Customers of the $60 per month plan will now be able to use 2.5GB in data as opposed to 2GB. No-cost Wi-Fi hotspot also comes with the plan in addition to unlimited talk.
Select Wal-Mart locations will offer the GoPhone plan for $45 with data availability up to 1GB.
The new data plans will begin automatically on April 25.
This latest deal comes after news that AT&T reduced their data plan charges. The 2GB Mobile Share Value plan is now offered to customers for $65 as opposed to previously at $80 per month.
