Weekend two of Coachella 2014 is wrapping up, and this year saw some of the best guest performers the desert has ever witnessed. Weekend one may have been hard to follow, but the second weekend offered some surprises of its own to its festivalgoers.
On Saturday night, RL Grime hit the Mojave stage, beginning his set at 7:30pm. Henry Steinway is a music producer and has remixed several tracks, including Kanye West’s “Mercy.” RL Grime surprised his crowd during weekend two when Big Sean joined him on stage to perform “Mercy” and “All Me.”
Big Sean hyped up the crowd with his trademark sayings, like “Oh God.” At one point Big Sean even jumped down into the crowd and came close to losing his shorts.
Rap-up.com reports that Big Sean stripped down for his performance of “All Me,” which is a track he shares with Drake. Drake, too, made his first Coachella appearance during Jhené Aiko’s set last Sunday.
According to RL Grime’s Twitter, he and Big Sean will be working in the studio together next week. There will be plenty more to look forward to from this duo.
