Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and Former President Bill Clinton took to Twitter after the news was released that their daughter Chelsea Clinton is expecting her first child with husband, Marc Mezvinsky.
According to the Associated Press, Chelsea Clinton said at a Clinton Foundation event empowering women, "Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year and I certainly feel all the better whether it's a girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in a world with so many strong female leaders.”
Clinton married Mezvinsky in July 2010 at a ceremony in Rhinebeck, New York, at an estate overlooking the Hudson River. Mezvinsky pursued a Rhodes scholarship at University of Oxford. Clinton said that 2014 would be “year of the baby.”
Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton responded on Twitter.
