Could there be life on Mars? A new photograph shows a mysterious light on the planet.
Dreams of little green aliens, UFO's, and all kinds of extraterrestrial life have captured the imaginations of science fiction fans for generations, but with the advancement of space technology, alien enthusiasts may have new proof of life on planet Mars. NASA’s Mars Curiosity is currently roving around the red planet and snapping photographs, and one picture shows something mysterious -- an artificial light, reports Fox News . Users on the UFO site UFO Sightings Daily pointed out that in a picture taken by Curiosity on April 3rd, there appears to be a bright, artificial light shining like a beacon. "This could indicate there there is intelligent life below the ground and uses light as we do. This is not a glare from the sun, nor is it an artifact of the photo process. Look closely at the bottom of the light. It has a very flat surface giving us 100% indication it is from the surface,” says Scott Warren, writer of UFO Sightings Daily. NASA scientists disagree and believe that it's either light from the sun glinting off a shiny rock, or a light leak in Curiosity's camera.
Scott Warren, to his credit, has already acknowledged that NASA won't be taking his alien life claims seriously.“Sure NASA could go and investigate it," he writes at the end of his post, "but hey, they are not on Mars to discover life, but there to stall its discovery.”
