Bruce Springsteen will join the list of recording artists scheduled to appear at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced on Tuesday that Springsteen will induct and perform with his loyal E. Street Band. It will be a star studded occasion with many inductees. Michael Stipe of R.E.M. will induct Nirvana, Coldplay's Chris Martin will induct Peter Gabriel, and Ahmir, "Questlove" Thompson will induct fellow Philadelphians Hall and Oates. Inductees Daryl Hall and John Oates will perform at the event. KISS will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but declined the opportunity to perform. According to Rolling Stone, there's no word yet on who will induct Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam).
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony will held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio will have a special exhibit in June. The general public will be able to attend the ceremony at the Barclays Center on April 10th. The event will air on May 31 on HBO, according to the Associated Press.
