The new trailer for director David Michod's new film, The Rover is here and ready for your viewing pleasure.
As Ain't It Cool News notes, the film stars Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson, who's having no trouble getting work it seems in a post-Twilight world between this and David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars.
The logline of the post-apocalyptic crime drama set down under goes something like this:
Pattinson plays Rey, a gangster abandoned by his friends that meets Eric (Pearce), a vigilante type looking to exact revenge on the very same gang. The two form an uneasy bond in their quest for bloody vengeance.
MTV News reports that the film will screen at the 2014 Cannes film festival, whose lineup was announced only today. The film marks Michod's sophomore directing effort, after Animal Kingdom.
