News hit the public fast when Richard Donner confirmed a 28-year-later sequel to The Goonies. Corey Feldman has taken to twitter in regards to the incessant question if he’ll be rejoining the cast.
The 42-year-old, well-known 80s child star and actor tweeted a series of thoughts explaining everything he knows about the film, which isn’t too much.

He confirmed speaking with Donner and continued to tell the public that Donner told him that the project would involve Chris Columbus and Steven Spielberg. Feldman is “skeptical” since he has yet to see a script and is extremely passionate about the film coming out perfect and that it “does not miss the magic of the original,” reports TMZ
Feldman also tweeted that he trusts Donner, has the upmost faith in the sequel and will inform fans of any breaking news. Feldman shocked the public when his autobiography, Coreyography: A Memoir dropped and informed everyone that he was sexually abused on film sets as a child actor, according to Contact Music
Aside from Feldman, actors from The Goonies continued on to success in fame and fortune. If all goes well, the film will star Feldman alongside Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Martha Plimpton and Kerri Green.
