Dan + Shay, an up and coming country duo, have set records with their debut album Where It All Began. The album entered into the Billboard Top Country Albums at the No. 1 spot. They are now one of the few country duos to accomplish this with a debut album.
Radio.com added that Florida Georgia Line with Here's To The Good Times and Big & Rich with Horse of a Different Color, also accomplished this goal with their debut albums.
Where It All Began sold over 29,000 copies in its first week available. The album also entered into the top 200 album charts at No. 6.
This album also marks the first studio album since Sugarland's Love on the Inside to top the charts. Love on the Inside was released back in 2008, Billboard reported.
The lead single off of Where It All Began, "19 You + Me," is also doing well on the country music singles charts.
