Dee Dee Myers, who was President Bill Clinton’s press secretary, has found a new position at Warner Bros. She will lead the major Hollywood studio’s Communications department.

The studio said that her official title will be executive vice president for worldwide corporate communications and public affairs, reports The New York Times. She follows Sue Fleishman who held the post for nine years.

Myers shared her excitement for her new post on Twitter. “Couldn’t be more exciting about joining WB,” she wrote.

Myers also spoke with The Hollywood Reporter after the studio made the announcement, calling the studio a “great company.” She recalled working with the studio as a consultant on The West Wing.

“Then I met [CEO Kevin Tsujihara] and he seemed like such an interesting guy, who has a great vision for company at this time,” Myers said. “So it all came together and seemed like a great opportunity.”

Myers has been based in Washington as a communications consultant and also co-hosts a CNBC program. She will move to Los Angeles and start working at Warner Bros. on Sept. 2.

“Dee Dee brings a creative and strategic mindset to communications and public positioning,” Tsujihara said in a statement, notes Deadline. “Her engaging and collaborative demeanor paired with her acute understanding of how to engage constituencies will help us strengthen our position as the leading global studio.”

Warner Bros. has been building on its successful 2013, which included Man of Steel and Gravity. This year, the studio has had success with 300: Rise of an Empire and The LEGO Movie.
