Fresh off his Saturday Night Live performance, Ed Sheeran has announced when his sophomore album will be released and that he will be embarking on his first solo North American tour.
X will be released on June 23rd and in support of the album Sheeran has announced some of the dates on his upcoming tour with more dates to come. The tour will start in Seattle on August 22nd and will make a variety of stops in cities such as, Boston, Atlanta and Chicago, Billboard reported. This will be the first solo stadium tour for the "Lego House" singer.
More tour dates are set to be announced soon. Sheeran first rose to fame with his first single, "The A Team" and after he opened up for Taylor Swift on the Red tour, Sheeran became a household name in the pop music industry.
USA Today added that the first single off of X, "Sing," which was produced by Pharrell Williams, is currently rising on the music charts.
