It is scary for any parent to see a recall on a product that possibly comes into contact with their child. Evenflo has recently recalled over 1 million car seats and booster sets.

According to Comcast Sports Net Philly the reason the child seats were recalled is because the buckles that strap the child in can get stuck and make it very difficult to get the child out of the harness.

The recall involves almost two dozen models. Evenflo has put out a video to instruct consumers how to replace the buckle if it starts to become defective.

According to NBC San Diego Evenflo issued a statement on their website that informed consumers that the harness crotch buckle can become resistant to unlatching over time, due to exposure to food, drink and other varying ingredients, but if the buckle is functioning the way it should there is no risk to the child.

A rear-facing infant child seat by Evenflo is currently being investigated due to safety concerns.
