Rapper Fabolous reveals a possible summer release for his new album.
VIBE reports that in an interview with RealTalkNY, Fabolous revealed that he is looking forward to a summer release for his album, Loso's Way 2.
"I always make sure that I'm completely one hundred percent comfortable with the product I'm putting out before I do. I think this summer will be that time," Fabolous told RealTalkNY.
In the interview, Fabolous also spoke about his recent mixtape, The S.O.U.L. Tape 3, which released in December.
"It's good that I put the mixtape out because I wanted to tighten a couple of screws on the album and put the mixtape out while I did that," Fabolous said. "I used that to build some energy."
Loso's Way 2 was announced in 2009, and scheduled for a 2010 summer release.
Fabolous spoke to MTV about the delay of his new album, explaining that there was no rush. He wanted to take the time he needs to release an album of good quality.
Fabolous released the singles "Ready" featuring Chris Brown, and "When I Feel Like It" featuring 2 Chainz, in 2013. With those songs, as well as his latest mixtape, he hopes to rebuild the anticipation for the new album.
Loso's Way 2 will be Fabolous' sixth studio album.
