A massive three-alarm fire took place during a wedding reception at Lakeview Pavilion, shortly after the couple walked down the aisle.

Flames erupted through the roof of the building at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday night, before taking over and destroying Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, according to The Washington Post.

Fire crews from Foxborough and neighboring communities all responded to the scene. There were a total of 100 guests at the wedding reception who were all safely evacuated. No injuries have been reported.

The fire department believes that a cigarette is what caused the fire, which lead to the destruction of the historic building.

“It looks like a cigarette was thrown into some mulch and the fire erupted from there and spread to the building,” Deputy Fire Chief Steven Bagley said, reports The Boston Globe.

Lakeview Pavilion was built in 1906 and had just been renovated a few years ago. According to NECN.com, one of the owners said that he hopes to rebuild in the future.
