The first images from the set of Jurassic World, the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise have been released. One of the images shows actress Bryce Dallas Howard, marking the first official confirmation that she is indeed in the film.
Howard, who recently appeared in 50/50 and The Help, was first linked to the production in September, but Universal Pictures has never fully confirmed the cast. However, she is in one of the three pictures Entertainment Weekly has released, so obviously, she is in it.
The two other photos the magazine published do not feature any actors. One shows a damaged white construction truck with a JP logo and another is the director’s chair with the Jurassic World logo.

The man who is usually sitting in that director’s chair is Safety Not Guaranteed helmer Colin Trevorrow. He told the U.K.’s Empire that they are thinking about sequels, but are envisioning the new films as episodic adventures.
“We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story,” Trevorrow told the magazine.
In addition to Howard, the cast includes Chris Pratt, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Omar Sy, B.D. Wong, Vincent D'Onofrio and lots of dinosaurs. Jurassic World opens on June 12, 2015.
