Fans of Ben Affleck and David Fincher have something to be happy about. The trailer for Gone Girl has appeared online.
Gone Girl is a story about Nick Dunne, played by Affleck, and a woman who disappears the day of her wedding anniversary. The movie features Rosamund Pike as Amy Dunne. Nick suffers tremendous loss during the film. When he starts behaving erratically, he is considered to be a suspect in Amy’s disappearance, according to MTV.
The trailer features a distraught Affleck reaching to the past to look to the future. "I did not kill my wife," Ben Affleck's Nick Dunne says at the end of the Gone Girl trailer. "I am not a murderer," according to the The Huffington Post. The screenplay is written by Gillian Flynn, and the film also features Neil Patrick Harris as Desi Collings.|
Fincher was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Achievement in Directing for The Social Network and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series for the political drama, House of Cards.
Gone Girl will appear in theaters on October 3.
