The band Fleetwood Mac has seen a large surge in music sales following the announcement that the group had been reunited.
The band announced their new tour and coming together on NBC's The Today show. Following that announcement the band went on a press tour and helped to get them back in the musical spotlight. Their album sales have increased 33% in the week ending March 30, Billboard reported.
Fleetwood Mac's music catalog has increased in sales as well. The group sold 10,000 copies this week, which is an 8,000 difference from other weeks. The band's greatest hit album which was released back in 1998 re-entered the Billboard top 200.
One of the band's most well known singles "Landslide" also saw an increase in digital downloads. That song was downloaded 4,000 times this week alone. The band saw a 52% increase in digital downloads after their announcement, which rose from 20,000 to 30,000.
The band also put out a statement explaining that they would be lowering their ticket prices for their upcoming tour.
