A Florida woman has been busted for running an underage prostitution ring out of her home and robbing the people who came to use her services.
According to WESH, Devin Rachelle Miller, 22, used online ads to draw people to her home for sex and used images of underage prostitutes to entice them.
She reportedly kept a 16-year-old runaway and a 17-year-old in home her.
When men arrived at her home, they paid at the door before coming inside with the expectation of having sexual relations with either Miller or the 16-year-old. Sex did sometimes happen, but once the men were in the house, they would assuredly be robbed by gunmen stationed inside the house.
She would sometimes rob her clients prior to performing services on them.
Miller reportedly paid the gunmen and gave the teenagers a piece of the cut.
According to The New York Daily News, the 17-year-old was staying with Miller first with the intent of exchanging childcare for Miller’s 2-year-old child and housekeeping for a place to stay. When the 16-year-old ran away from home, her 17-year-old friend invited her to stay with Miller and it was then that the game changed.
She told the teens about her scam of luring men to the house and robbing them and asked if they wanted to join in, but it was reported that only the 16-year-old did.
While the prostitution and robberies were taking place, Miller’s 2-year-old was often in the home.
"In some cases, while the prostitution and robberies were taking place, a 2-year-old girl was present in the house," said Sheriff's Office Spokesman Brandon Haught.
Miller’s illegal activities lasted for four months and only stopped when the 16-year-old returned home and told her parents she’d experienced.
Miller has been charged with five counts of procuring a person under the age of 18 for prostitution, five counts of deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, unlawful use of a two-way communications device, child neglect and theft.
Her child is in state custody.
