MMA fighter and actress, Gina Carano, can be seen in the upcoming action thriller In the Blood, which has just received a release date of June 3rd.
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is working with Anchor Bay to release the video on Blu-ray and DVD combo packs as well as Digital HD, The Hollywood Reporter added.
In The Blood tells the story of a woman whose husband goes missing during their honeymoon in the Caribbean. The main character, played by Carano, takes matter into her own hands to find her husband and the men who captured him.
The film was directed by John Stockwell, who is known for his work on Into The Blue and Blue Crush.
Also making apperances in the films include; Stephen Lang, Luis Guzman, Amaury Nolasco, Cam Gigandet, Danny Trejo, Treat Williams, Ismael Cruz Cordova and Yvette Yates.
Yahoo Sports reported along with her acting career Carano is still focusing on her MMA career. If Carano returns to the ring she'd likely fight Ronda Rousey for the championship title.
"I think it would be the highest profile fight that could be done. I don't think it would make sense for her to come back and fight somebody else and take the risk of maybe losing and not being able to capitalize on the fight between me and her. I think it would make more sense to go straight to a title fight," said Carano.
