If you have an extra $1500 to spend today and have always wanted to own a pair of Google Glass, today is the day to get one. The tech giant has the new technology available for anyone, even without an invitation, today only.

On any other day, Google only makes the product available for members of its “explorer” program, which you have to get an invitation to, notes The Los Angeles Times. Today, that restriction is gone and users can pick a variety of colors and designs for the wearable computer. You can also pick clip-on sunglasses and add accessories, like a case or charger.

Google said that there will only be a limited number of Glass available and you have to be 18 or older and a U.S. citizen to buy.

“We’ve got a limited number of spots available, so don’t wait too long – we can't wait to meet you and hear about your first adventures with Glass,” Google said Tuesday.

Google has made strides to make Glass more mainstream, including a deal in January to make prescription lenses available. Although, bizarre incidents, like a woman being pulled over while wearing her pair and a man arrested for wearing one in a movie theater, haven’t helped. Maybe this attempt to make them more available will give the technology a boost.
