The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival had plenty of time to own the Empire Polo fields during its two back-to-back weekends. But, they have packed their bags, and country music has taken over Indio, California.
This year’s Stagecoach lineup included the young and talented Hunter Hayes. At only 22 years old, Hunter Easton Hayes is lighting up the stage at one of the largest country music festivals in the country.
He performed at the iHeartRadio Country Festival in Austin, Texas only one month ago, along with all the greats of country music. This proved to be an invaluable experience for Hayes, as he took that practice and brought it with him to California.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune noted Hayes’ “charismatic style and boundless energy,” saying he ran around during his entire performance. On Saturday night at 8:45pm, he took the Mane Stage like a professional and delighted the crowd with a set that included all of his biggest hits. This included: “Wanted,” “Everybody’s Got Somebody,” “I Want Crazy,” and more.
AXS Television is broadcasting the festival all weekend long, even through Monday for those of you who have missed the footage. You are able to listen to the best of country music and also see the personality shine through the artists.
Hayes told his audience Saturday night that his goal was for them “to have all the fun.” He continued to pour out his appreciation on them and basically showered them with love and energy. He had no problem showing off his guitar skills and his comfortable nature on stage. Though he admitted, he is naturally shy and awkward. Despite this, he nailed it and Stagecoach would be lucky to have him return.
Hunter Hayes is counting down the days, via Twitter, to the release of his new album, titled Storyline.
