Australian rapper Iggy Azalea released her album, The New Classic.

The recording artist and model signed with Mercury Records in 2013. Azalea told Billboard, "I signed to Mercury because no one would take me over here. Rappers like Angel Haze or Dominique Young Unique are on the radio in the U.K. -- I can only hear one female rapping on the radio here."

In 2012, Azalea became the first female and non-American rapper to be featured on a cover issue of XXL Magazine. She won the Hip-Hop Video of the Year for “Change Your Life” at The Boombox Fan Choice Awards. She also won Breakthrough Artist at the Attitude Awards.

The new album features fresh lyrics. Singles from the album include “Work,” “Bounce,” and “Change Your Life.” The song, “Fancy,” also reached top five in the UK. It also charted on the top forty of the US Billboard Hot 100.

Iggy Azalea will launch her tour, The New Classic in support of the album. The tour will play 15 concerts in North America. She plans to perform at various music festivals in Europe.
