Jared Leto is busy promoting his documentary, Artifact, about his band, 30 Seconds to Mars.

Leto has had a great year and worked on Dallas Buyers Club. The actor, known for his films, Requiem for a Dream and Lord of War, became interested again in his acting career after his success with Dallas Buyers Club.

His efforts have shifted a bit, though, towards his band and the future with the film, Artifact. Leto directed Artifact under the name Bartholomew Cubbins.

Leto told the Associated Press, "You know I got into this crazy business because I was interested in being a filmmaker and director. I was in ... art school studying to be a painter. And then I switched my major to filmmaking and dropped out to pursue acting because I thought it would help me get a job as a director."

Leto has directed a number of the band’s music videos, and no matter what the next move is, Leto will be celebrating the success of 30 Seconds to Mars and their latest album, “Love, Lust, Faith & Dreams,” which jumped to No. 25 on the Billboard charts after the Oscars.

Artifact will air on VH1 and Palladia on April 26, according to Just Jared.
