Convicted killer Jodi Arias is claiming she has received Hepatitis C while in prison.
According to UPI, Jodi Arias, who brutally murdered her ex-boyfriend in 2008, filed a lawsuit against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio after she allegedly received a tuberculosis vaccination that was administered with a dirty needle.
Arias also alleges she is subjected to unfair treatment while in prison, such as being forced to say the Pledge of Allegiance each morning, lest she not be fed. She also alleges that her breast implant leaked and because of lack of medical care, a fungus grew.
According to KNXV, Arias believes that Arpaio gave CNN Headline News host Nancy Grace evidence that prevented Arias from having a proper trial.
"I'm not concerned with it. She's just trying to get media attention by going after the media and this sheriff. She's not stupid. She knows she can generate some interest and the media will talk about it,” Arpaio said when he learned of the lawsuit.
