An Ohio judge ordered a man convicted of harassment to stand at a street corner while holding a sign saying he was a bully.

Edmond Aviv, 62, had to stand on the corner for five hours as punishment for harassing his neighbor, Sandra Prugh. According to the Associated Press, the harassment was 15 years in the running, but recently Aviv has gone after Prugh’s two children, who are disabled.

Prugh wrote a letter to the courts expressing her concerns. “I am very concerned for the safety of our family,” Prugh wrote.

Aviv also was sentenced to spend 15 days in jail and to take anger management classes. The sign he held on Sunday read: “I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself. M actions do not reflect an appreciate for the diverse South Euclid community that I live in.”

Fox News reports that Aviv had to write a court-ordered apology letter. “I want to express my sincere apology for acting irrationally towards your house and the safety of your children,” Aviv wrote.

Aviv’s attorney has not yet responded to the case outcome.
