A kindergarten teacher in China will not be prosecuted or fired after he was caught on camera urinating in the tea of his colleagues.
According to The New York Daily News, Gao Chao, 54, was caught by four of his colleagues at Dongsheng Art Kindergarten after they noticed something was amiss with the way their tea tasted and smelled.
'I first noticed there was a strange smell from my tea a few weeks ago after I returned to the class after taking the children out to play in the playground,” said Li Kao, 26.
Because the thermoses the teachers drank from were not transparent, they were unable to see any changes to the liquid. Believing it was the thermos that smelled strangely, Ko decided to change hers.
'I changed the flask and bought a new one but once I brought it to the kindergarten again I had the same problem with the strange smell.”
After realizing three other female teachers were having the same issue, the women decided to install a hidden camera and what they saw shocked them.
According to The Daily Mail, the women witnessed Chao urinating in their thermoses and immediately reported him to police, however, because Chao has no infectious diseases he cannot be prosecuted.
He was ordered to pay around $300 to each victim and promised he would never repeat his actions, then allowed to return to work.
It was reported that Chao urinated in the women’s tea because he felt they did not respect him.
All of the victims were between 21 and 26.
