Kings of Leon fans got a little more than the bargained for after attending the bands Seattle concert. The Washington Health department has issued a statement saying that a woman who had the virus attended the show that took place last week.
The report which was issued by the health department explained that most people in the state of Washington have been vaccinated for the measles, so the public risk is low, Billboard reported. "People who haven’t been vaccinated or aren’t sure if they’re immune should ask a health care professional for advice," the report detailed.
The report also explained that the disease is highly contagious. "If you're not vaccinated, you can get the measles just by walking into a room where someone with the disease has been in the past couple of hours," detailed the health department.
The Guardian reported that the band is currently on tour in Canada and has not yet responded to the news.
