Controversy has surrounded the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony that is scheduled to occur on Thursday.
Although many will be glad to receive the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame, Rock performers from the band, KISS, have not kept their grumblings quiet regarding the induction ceremony. They have expressed discontent that only the original members, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley will be inducted into the ceremony, according to the Associated Press. The band has chosen not to perform at the ceremony.

It is important day for rock stars and bands that have had their say over the years. Linda Ronstadt, who recently released Duets of her work with James Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and James Ingram, is glad to be one of the inductees this year. In addition to Ronstadt, recording artists that will be inducted this year will include Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, and Cat Stevens.

Thursday's ceremony will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The ceremony will air in May on HBO.
