Authorities have said that a Lufthansa plane was diverted after a passenger threatened the cabin crew with a broken razor blade shortly after the plane took off from Munich on Tuesday.
According to the Associated Press, a 28-year-old man from Kosovo, who was being deported from Germany, threatened the crew shortly after the plane took off.
Reuters reported that the after the man threatened a female flight attendant and barricaded himself in the bathroom with her, the pilot turned back to Munich.
The plane made an emergency landing and the 76 other passengers were able to exit the aircraft while police negotiated with the suspect.
Police eventually got the man to surrender and immediately apprehended him.
