Madonna photographer claims to be 'listening to the new album'

Mert Alas, who is a member of the photography pair Mert + Marcus, created some Internet buzz when a picture on Instagram was posted with the caption, "listening to the new album." The picture feature Madonna front and center.

Billboard reported that this has not been confirmed that Alas was listening to the follow up to MDNA which was released back in 2012 and that sources have informed the magazine that the next full-length album from Madonna is still under production. The "Material Girl" is still writing and working on new music in Los Angeles.

Madonna has hinted that this new record will feature Avicii, Natalia Kills and Toby Gad.

She Knows added that Mert + Marcus have collaborated and worked with Madonna many times in the past on a variety of projects.

The 2012 record from Madonna, MDNA opened on the Billboard charts at No. 1.
