It has not been an easy road for Mariah Carey when it comes to her 14th studio album, which she started working on back in 2010. Carey started working on this album before she gave birth to her twins Moroccan and Monroe who are now three-years-old.

Carey is planning on taking a surprise approach to her album, be announcing everything at once regarding the project. Including, the album title, track listing, artwork and music all at once via a digital approach. It is not yet clear if Carey will be following what Beyonce did with her album. Beyonce released her self-titled album without any promotion or publicity.

"I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title," Carey explained. The title is very personal to the "Always Be My Baby" singer, Billboard reported.

She explained that this album is a continuation of both her personal and professional life. "This is my life since we last left off. Just picture a dot dot dot, and then here's the album," said Carey.

The New York Daily added that this will not be the last album for Carey and that she will not be heading into retirement following the release of this untiled album.
