Captain America: The Winter Solider has taken over the box office and now Captain America will be heading to video game consoles. Disney has announced that Marvel superheroes will be joining Disney Infinity. Captain America will be one of the lead characters in the video game storyline.
Variety reported that Disney uses this medium as a way to bring characters together that would never be featured in any other universe.
In a teaser trailer for the game that was released on YouTube, Captain America can be seen on screen along with Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Characters that are already featured include The Incredibles, Cars, Toy Story, and Monsters University.
Comic Book Resources added that the games are available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
The Marvel universe is set to continue with Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America 3 and Thor 3.
