Radio Disney premiered their music awards on Sunday, April 27, at 8p.m. ET.
The event took place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and the show featured performances by Becky G, Austin Mahone, and Ariana Grande. Celebrities that attended the event include Julianne Hough and Ava Sambora, daughter of Richie Sambora.
According to E! News, Songs that won awards are as follows: “That's My Jam – Best Song To Rock Out To With Your BFF” award went to “Me & My Girls” by Fifth Harmony and for the category of “Soundtraxx – Favorite Song From a Movie or TV Show” award went to "Let It Go" by Idina Menzel (Frozen).
As earlier reported by Billboard, the big winners of the night was the boy band, One Direction, for the category of Best Music Group; Justin Timberlake, for the category of Best Male Artist; and Demi Lovato, for the category of Best Female Artist.
Other performances that took place include R5, Fifth Harmony and Zendaya.
