One Direction has announced that "You and I" will be the bands next single. A music video for the single will be released next Friday, April 18th.
Billboard reported that the group posted a YouTube video to fans which announced the new single. "This one's for you, so I hope you like it," said One Direction member, Harry Styles.
"You and I" was a musical collaboration between Julian Bunetta, Jamie Scott and John Ryan, who was the team behind "The Story of My Life." "You and I" will be following the success of "The Story of My Life" which ended up in the No. 6 position on the Hot 100 charts, today the song is at the No. 18 spot on the charts.
One Direction is again working with Ben Winston for the upcoming music video for the single.
MTV added that One Direction is asking fans to follow Liam Payne's example and post their own remixes of "You and I."
