A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with the murder of her niece after an argument gone wrong.

According to The New York Daily News, Christina Nicole George-Harvan, 30, married Jeremy Harvan hours before she, her new husband, and her niece, Katelyn Francis, 21, went out to Jimmy K’s Bar to have a few drinks to celebrate.

Over the course of the night, the three drank and enjoyed themselves, but an argument broke out when it could not be decided who would drive home from the bar.

According to Metro News, the argument escalated quickly and George-Harven produced a gun, believe to be her husband’s, and shot her niece to death.

“Everybody in the bar noticed that there was something going on with the people, but nobody knew exactly what was happening. The next thing you know we heard someone got shot. I looked out, noticed it was right by my car,” witness James Botinovich said.

George-Harvan has been charged with homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
