Perri "Pebbles" Reid, the former manager of girl group TLC is suing Viacom.
Page Six reveals how Reid is suing Viacom for $40 million due to the way she was portrayed in CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. In an Atlanta federal court, Reid has declares that in CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story she is portrayed as a dishonest person who tried to take advantage of three innocent girls and use their talents for her own personal gain. Reid, also is an R & B singer who has sold over 4 million records. Reid filed the lawsuit on April 25th and claims that what the audience saw in CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story is not the truth. Reid says that she never controlled the lawyers and accountants for TLC, never held back any contract terms to TLC and at all times paid TLC the money that they were owed. In 1994, TLC sold 11 million copies of their album CrazySexyCool, but afterwards the group had to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. TLC claimed that they were only paid $50,000 a year in 1993 and 1994.
Us Weekly reported last November that while appearing on The Wendy Williams Show, Reid declared that TLC's Chili had an affair with her ex-husband L.A. Reid.
