With another week in the musical history books, Pharrell Williams continues his unstoppable run with his hit single "Happy" topping the Billboard singles charts yet again.
Billboard reported that this is the ninth week for Williams to take the top spot with his Oscar nominated single.
"Happy" also has a strong hold when it comes to radio play and digital downloads. In it's eight week on the radio songs charts it logged 203 million all-format audience impressions. Yet another record for the single includes the fact that by topping the Adult Contemporary charts this week, "Happy" has now reached the top of six single-format airplay charts.
With this chart topping week behind him, Williams now becomes the sixth male solo recording artist to spend six months atop the Hot 100.
Also making moves on the charts this week included Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown entering back into the top ten of the singles charts.
Along with the success of "Happy," Williams is keeping a busy schedule, it has just been announced that he will be joining the upcoming seventh season of NBC's The Voice. Williams will be replacing Cee Lo Green as a coach, US Magazine added.
