There has been no evidence at this time to show that 16-year-old Alex Hribal, who went on a stabbing rampage at his high school Wednesday, had any individual target.
According to the Associated Press, the case has gotten rocky due to the fact that many of the victims are still in the hospital and Hribal refuses to talk to police.
Hribal is facing many charges including four counts of attempted homicide and 21 aggravated assault. A total of 22 people were injured when he attacked the 1,200-student Franklin Regional High School in Pittsburgh.
The Mercury reports that police claimed Friday that Hribal at told them “he wanted someone to kill him.” As of right now, Hribal’s attorney is getting a psychiatric evaluation done, making communication hard for authorities.
“It’s a little hard to get his side of things right now,” Police Chief Thomas Seefeld said.
Four of the students from the attack remain in critical condition at the hospital. Three more people were recently released.
