Fans are listening to the new single, ‘Sheezus,’ on Lily Allen’s new album.
The singer is naming names on the title track to the album, set to be released on May 6, according to the Huffington Post.
The video clip for the single is bright and colorful. It features plenty of neon surrounding the British singer who wears a hoodie on the clip.
Allen’s previous albums include Alright, Still and It’s Not Me, It’s You, released in 2009. On ‘Sheezus’ Allen sings about her contemporaries, Some of the lyrics include, “Ri-Ri isn't scared of Katy Perry's roaring, Queen Bey's gone back to the drawing/Lorde smells blood yeah, she's about to slay you, Kid ain't one to f--k with when she's only on her debut/ We're all watching Gaga, LOL haha, dying for the art so really she's a martyr,” according to MTV.
Allen won a BRIT Award for British Female Solo Artist in 2010. She also won a BMI Award for her song, “The Fear,” that year, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album in 2008.
