The premiere of the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey could be delayed due to the legal problems that surround Teresa Giudice.
Radar Online exclusively reveals that Bravo has yet to schedule an air date for the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey because of Giudice's pending prison sentencing hearing. An insider says, "Obviously, Teresa is going to be a key character in the upcoming season, and Bravo wants to maximize her storyline.
Having Teresa available to do press interviews, and promotions is essential." However, Guidice's legal team is not allowing her to do interviews prior to the her sentencing in July because it could have an effect on her sentencing. Last month, Giudice and her husband Joe plead guilty to nine counts of mail, wire, bank and bankruptcy fraud. Giudice may have to spend 27 months in prison, while Joe is looking at 46 months in jail. Bravo is wishing that Joe get sentenced first because Giudice is obligated by contract to do press for The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
In Touch Weekly reported how Giudice is trying to stay out of the spotlight. A friend of Giudice claims, "She has become extremely paranoid and cut almost everyone off."
