Back in January, Quentin Tarantino’ s The Hateful Eightwas leaked online. Following that incident, Tarantino said that he had no desire to move forward with the film and was not going to make it. At recent reading of the script on Saturday during the Film Independent's session in Downtown L.A.’s Ace Hotel, Tarantino announced that he was working on a second draft of the script and a third to come soon.

Variety reported that the famous director also explained that he would be rewriting the final chapter of the script along with chapter five and that this was the only time fans would ever see or hear this version of the story.

Reading The Hateful Eight were some “Tarantino Superstars,” all alums of his previous films, which included Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins and Tim Roth. All reading major character roles from the script, Deadline added.

Tarantino warned the crowd that as a group they had not been rehearsing for long as a full "superstar" cast. “We’ve been rehearsing for the last three days. We’re OK, we’re not bad,” said Tarantino.
