On Sunday April 27, at 8p.m. on Disney channel, the awards will premier for the first time.
As earlier reported by ET News, Stylist Erik Rudy says the celebrities will be dressing in florals which are big this spring and they are able to dress more fun and flirty.
Singer Ariana Grande will be releasing a new single, “Problem”, at the awards show. On April 16,2014, she teased her fan with a tweet that said, “excited to be performing my new single "problem" at the @radiodisney music awards #RDMAs it will be on iTunes at midnight after it airs :D.”
On Saturday, April 26, fans have the opportunity to listen to a live stream of the pre-show party and the live red carpet broadcast on radio Disney and them on Sunday, April 27, there will be a live stream of the show itself as well as it being aired on Disney Channel for all to see. After the show on that Sunday, fans are able to listen to a live stream of the after party at 9 p.m. ET.
According to Disney Music’s site, the nominees for “the bestest” song of the year are “Roar” by Katy Perry, “Best Song Ever” by One Direction and “ Come & Get It” by Selena Gomez.
