Warner Bros. and DC Comics have cast actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the yet-unnamed Superman and Batman film.
According to sources who exclusively spoke with Variety, Cyborg, or Victor Stone, isn't set to be a big role in the upcoming film. However, he would play a larger role when more films in the Justice League universe are pumped out.
Fisher is mostly known for his stage roles, though he also recently tried out for Star Wars: Episode VII as well. On Broadway he starred in Fetch Clay, Make Man as Muhammad Ali.
He joins the recently cast Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto and Callan Mulvey, who joined the project early in April. Little is known about their roles at the moment, other than they will be appearing as movie-original characters.
The main roles in the movie have gone to Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and Gal Gadot.
The Superman-Batman film has a theatrical release date of May 6, 2016 and is being directed by Zach Snyder and David S. Goyer wrote the script.
