Music mogul Diddy has landed the number one spot on Forbes list of Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists.

Forbes reveals that Diddy is richiest guy in hip hop by having an estimated fortune of $700 million. A large portion of Diddy's fortune comes from his stake as a majority owner of Revolt TV, which is a new music channel. In a interview with Forbes Diddy said that overseeing Revolt TV was his main focus. Diddy states, "Right now my focus is Revolt and making it the number one, most-trusted, most credible worldwide brand for music."

Earlier this year, Diddy expanded his empire by become a partner in DeLeon tequila. The New York Post reports how in Janurary, Diddy became a partner in DeLeon tequila and hopes to guide it to the same amount of success he has had with Ciroc, a brand of vodka that he is also a partner in. Diddy claimed, "With Ciroc, we dated. Now with DeLeon, we’re married. This deal is way better. This makes me a true owner."
