A 13-year-old boy died after falling from balcony while vacationing with his family in Florida.
Zachary Dickman was from Indiana, but was on vacation to Panama City Florida with his family at the time of the accident, according to WMBB. The family was about to check out of their room at the Palazzo Condominiums when Zachary told his grandmother he’d forgotten his cell phone upstairs.
According to WJHG, the family waited for Zachery to return for some time before his grandmother went up to see what was taking him so long. When she arrived to the room, she reportedly called his name for a few times, but as she continued to look around and received no answer, she realized her grandson had fallen from the balcony.
He fell from the 15 floor.
"It's horrible. I feel so bad for his parents. I have a two year old little girl and I couldn't imagine, couldn't imagine what they're going through," said Brittney Daniels, a guest at the Palazzo Condominiums.
Police are investigating Zachary’s death as an accidental one.
