Sony has been heavily promoting their upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 across a variety of avenues including social media, TV ads and promotional advertising but in the final weeks before the film is released in the United States, Sony is turning up the promotional another notch.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has made a deal with major media conglomerate to run ads for the film across multiple TV networks.
Variety reported that this deal has come as a result of an advertising pact with NBCUniversal and Sony. Bravo, E!, USA, Syfy, Telemundo and mun2 will all be showing ads for Spider-Man 2.
Starting on April 28, every network that is a part of this deal will run specially created 60-second ads that play up themes which appeal to viewers of each outlet.
Forbes added that 14 overseas markets opened the sequel to The Amazing Spider Man this weekend and the film has already taken in $47 million at the box office, around $2 million of that box office total comes from IMAX screenings alone.
