Tiesto will be one of the main headliners to take the stage at the first-ever Thank You Festival, which will be presented by the Global Citizen movement in partnership with World Childhood Foundation. Also playing this festival will be Above & Beyond, Krewella and Alvin Risk.

This first-ever festival, which will be taking place on June 26th at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Washington D.C., will feature musical acts from the world and is an effort to eliminate global child deaths that have taken place over the past 25 years, along with expressing the importance of supporting children around the world, Billboard reported.

Tickets will be going on sale this Friday and 100 free tickets will be given away on the Global Citizen website.

Hugh Evans, CEO of the Global Poverty Project spoke about the importance of events like these and why education on these issues are important. "To become a global citizen, we must extend our compassion beyond our borders. The United States has played a pivotal role in leading child survival and protection efforts worldwide and this event celebrates that. But this is also a chance to educate the younger generation and motivate our leaders to act. The bottom line is increased investment in child survival initiatives could ensure that no child dies for the lack of a 30-cent vaccine," said Evans.
