The Madrona Manor was built in 1879 and the building is overflowing with a historical and vintage feeling. Right in the heart of Sonoma County’s famous Wine Country, the manor is a perfect spot for any couple who wants the slow country life with surrounding views of vineyards, green hillsides and local plant and wildlife.
For generally smaller weddings, since the manor can only hold up to 150 people, the mansion is a perfect spot for a romantic daytime ceremony and fun evening reception. The Madrona Manor also offers elopement packages.

9. The Queen Mary
Permanently docked in the Port of Long Beach, the RMS Queen Mary is one of the most historic landmarks in all of California. Having her maiden voyage in 1936, the Queen Mary perfectly encapsulates the time period in which she was built. The second you walk onto the ship it feels as if you are transported back into that time period. If you have ever wanted to feel what it was like on the infamous RMS Titanic, the RMS Queen Mary will be the closest you will get to reliving what it would be like on a ship of that grand of a scale.

A warning of caution however, the RMS Queen Mary is widely known to be one of the most haunted spots in all of California, if not all of the nation.

With a historic and vintage feel the Hotel Del transports you to a different time. Also be warned about this venue, it is a haunted hotspot as well and many ghostly sightings have been reported here.
