Top Moments From the MTV Awards show in Review

The MTV Movie Awards aired on Sunday March 13.

The show included categories or best smooches as well as the best movie of the year. Channing Tatum was amongst one of the winner last night for the Trailblazer Award. Shailene Woodley won for favorite character in ‘Divergent.’ The show also included a performance by Eminem and Rihanna singing their hit single, “The Monster.” The show was filled with funny moments whether it was the stars getting a little crazy with their jokes all the way to the somber ones about Paul Walker, no longer being with us. Conan O’Brien was the host of the show and kept it interesting with his jokes such as the disses to the stars throughout the show.

One of my top moments from the show is when Rita Ora ripped off Zac Efron's shirt. Efron was nominated in the category for “best shirtless performance” and he ended up winning for his performance in the movie ‘Awkward’. While accepting his award Rita Ora came up from behind him and ripped his denim shirt off, showing the crowd his abs.

Another moment that stood out to me was the tribute to Paul Walker. His co-star Jordana Brewster presented the tribute and spoke about Walker and his personality.

“For Paul, every day was an adventure to be tackled, and he wanted to make a difference in this world,” she said.

Vin Diesel appeared in a video tribute, saying, “The world saw his magic onscreen, the world saw his philanthropic endeavors, and yet I wish the world could have seen how special a brother he was.”
